Gary's Wine & Marketplace is a locally owned and operated wine retailer known for offering one of the largest and finest selections of wines, beers, spirits, cheeses, meats, and gourmet foods in the tri-state area. With both brick-and-mortar stores and online presence, we pride ourselves on excellent customer service and product knowledge. We are currently seeking a dedicated and organized Receiver / Warehouse and Stock team member to join our back-of-house operations. This role is crucial for ensuring efficient receiving, storage, and proper stocking of our products to maintain inventory accuracy and support smooth store operations. Key Responsibilities: • Receive and unload shipments promptly and accurately • Inspect incoming products for quality and accuracy against purchase orders • Properly store and organize inventory in the warehouse • Prepare stock for shelving and assist with stocking duties as needed • Maintain cleanliness and organization of warehouse and stock areas • Coordinate with other departments to fulfill stock and delivery needs • Perform periodic inventory counts and assist with inventory management • Operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently Requirements • Previous experience in receiving, warehousing, or stock management preferred • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly • Strong organizational and time management skills • Attention to detail and accuracy in checking orders • Reliable and able to work independently and as part of a team • Basic computer skills for inventory tracking • Must be at least 18 years of age Benefits We offer a friendly working environment, a competitive starting salary, flexible hours, and a generous employee discount.
