1. Information we collect
You give us
- Account details: name, email, password (stored only as a secure hash), account type.
- Job seeker profile and applications: phone, city or ZIP, headline, resumes you upload, messages to employers, and the jobs you save or apply to.
- Employer details: company name, website, description, location, job posts, and notes and statuses you add to applications.
- Reports and messages you send us.
- Payment details when paid features start. Card data goes directly to our payment processor; we receive only limited details such as the last four digits.
Collected automatically
- Log and device data: IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and dates and times of visits.
- Searches you run, such as keywords and locations, used to show results and improve the Service.
- Cookies, described below.
2. How we use it
- To run the Service: create accounts, show jobs, deliver applications and send related emails.
- To keep the Service safe: prevent fraud and spam, review reported jobs, enforce our Terms.
- To improve the Service: understand how it is used and fix problems.
- To communicate with you about your account, applications and important changes. Marketing emails, if any, will include an unsubscribe link.
- To comply with legal obligations.
3. When we share it
- With employers when you apply. Your application, contact details and the resume you choose go to that employer. Your profile is not shared with employers you haven't applied to.
- With job seekers: job posts and company profiles are public.
- With service providers that host and run the Service for us under contract, such as database and file storage ([e.g. Supabase]), web hosting ([e.g. hosting provider]), email delivery, analytics ([e.g. Google Analytics]) and payments ([e.g. Stripe]).
- For legal reasons: to comply with law or valid legal process, or to protect the rights and safety of users and the public.
- In a business transfer such as a merger or acquisition, subject to this policy.
4. Cookies and analytics
We use a necessary cookie to keep you signed in and protect forms from abuse. With your consent where required, we use analytics cookies to understand how the Service is used. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the Service may not work properly without necessary cookies.
5. How long we keep it
We keep account information while your account is open. When you delete your account, we delete your profile, resumes, saved jobs and application history within [30] days, except copies kept in backups for a limited time or where we must keep data by law. Applications you already sent may remain in employers' own records. Expired job posts are removed from public view and deleted after [90] days.
6. Your choices and rights
- Update your profile and resumes in your account at any time.
- Delete your account in Settings, or ask us to by writing to [PRIVACY EMAIL].
- Ask for a copy of your personal information or for corrections by writing to [PRIVACY EMAIL]. We may need to verify your identity first.
7. California residents
Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended, California residents have the right to know what personal information we collect, use and disclose; to request deletion; to request correction; to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information; to limit use of sensitive personal information; and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights.
We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We collect the categories listed in section 1 (identifiers, professional or employment-related information, internet activity, and approximate location) for the purposes in section 2, and disclose them to the recipients in section 3. 8. Security
We use encryption in transit, hashed passwords, access controls on resumes and applications, and limited staff access. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password.
9. Children

10. Changes and contact
